Got up, glanced at clock, got ready for Suboh.

Checked my mesage box, 1 text mesage...
"xxxxxx is in the hospital, ICU, not concious but stable..."

Went to the hospital, they won't let me in, wait for the others to come out, they said...

Waited around, tried to make small talk to the others that were there...

They called me in, "you can go in now, be brief..."

Went in with trepidation...

I feel the grief of your family...
You, lying there, not awake but not asleep...

With the plethora of equipment being attached to you...scares me...truly...
Am standing here by your bedside, tears welled up...

Helpless at your hour in need...

What do I say, but a silent prayer for your well being...
Get well my friend, get well...
