catch me if you can...

Was at the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport for the aerobatics performed by the Patrouille de France (PAF), the French air force’s very own aerobatics team. They were here on part of their Asian Tour, after flying in from China two days earlier.

Also at the shoot was another PMer, Mr. Digital Artist.

The day started with low overhead clouds. At times it even looked that it was going to rain. Because of the low clouds the show was delayed for about an hour. Thank goodness the clouds managed to give enough clearance for the show to start.

The low clouds and the morning haze from the previous nights rain caused the pictures to be soft.

...a true artist, here I am documenting his work digitally, and he obviously the traditional, analogue way. Somehow I'm admiring his efforts more than mine of his...

bye daddy....

I use to do a lot of shift work, and lots of times the hours are really long and uncertain...
You know, you leave home whilst it's still dark and you come back when it's dark too, and the kids are already in bed...and dinner is cold...

And this'll happen for weeks on end, weekends included. You basically go home for a laundry change, and home cooked food. Hardly see the family.

One day...there was this mate of ours who's on the same shift and came in one day with a glum look on him...

He said goodbye to his kids when he was leaving for work...and the younger daughter called out to him, "Bye Daddy, come again tomorrow..."

Clouds...

everytime I see such clouds, the music starts to play in my head...
and I'd hum...

But every time it rains,
You're here in my head,
Like the sun coming out--
Ooh, I just know that something good is going to happen.
And I don't know when,
But just saying it could even make it happen...

...boats a bobbin' in the breezy afternoon sun...
